In 2006, Congdu boldy relocated to the Seoul Museum of History on the grounds of Gyeonghuigung Palace,becoming the first Korean restaurant inside a museum as a landmark of history, art, and gastronomy converged.
In 2013, Congdu rmoved to Jeongdeokwon, the history office of Queen Insoo, and displayed a plaque by the late Shin Young-bok symbolizing its role in preserving the legacy of Jeongdong and Deoksugung. Congdu further became renowned for its refined Korean cuisine, perfectly aligning its historic setting and cultural significance.
In 2024, Congdu positioned itself
at the intersection of nature and the city—
